Obituary of Joseph G. Michaud

Haines Falls- Joseph G. Michaud, 76, died on February 3, 2014 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 3, 1938 in Manhattan, NY to the late Joseph and Rose (Compitello) Michaud and was raised on Mulberry Street. He is survived by his loving wife Deborah (Giaccone) whom he married on July 22, 1970; his children Joseph, Michael, Natalie, Robert (Amy), Salvatore Michaud and Josephine (Marc) Michaud-Uhrik; his siblings, Michael R. Michaud and Roseann Michaud; his grandchildren Francis Raffiani, Nicolas Uhrik, Zachery, Joshua, Benjamin, Isabella, Christina and Michael Michaud; his cousin Michael J. Compitello; his nephews Michael Angelo (Rhonda) Michaud and Noel Zeth and nieces Rosemarie (Brian) Cassidy, Francesca (Steve) Gooby and Adrienne (Dan) McCarron. Joe formerly worked at Todaro's in Windham, Friar Tuck in Catskill and Hunter Mountain while living in upstate New York. He was the owner of the Beehive Restaurant in Haines Falls, NY. Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Decker Funeral Home, 5312 St. Rt. 23, Windham, NY. A funeral service will be held on Friday, 10 AM, February 7, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Haines Falls, NY; with interment to follow at St Francis De Sales Cemetery, Elka Park.
