Dear Judie, I will happily remember you as Erik's ever present grandma who always had a smile. As a teacher, it was wonderful to see you take part in everything he did. How truly lucky he is to have had you for a grandmother!! You will be missed xox

Judy Messinger I only knew Judie through pictures that Lee shared with the Loopeys. One of my favorites was Judy, Lee, and a mini horse in the trunk of the car. So cute, happy times

Dear Judie ~ I'm heartbroken to hear that you've gone to heaven! And jealous; heaven doesn't need you, but we sure do. I love you & I miss you terribly. I've travelled far & wide & never found a friend like you. And I never want to; you're special; no one can replace you or that wicked funny sense of humour you have! There's only one thing that keeps my broken heart a bit together, and that's knowing that you'll have our part of Heaven rocking & hip hopping & telling "dirty" jokes by the time I get there to see you. I'm sorry I couldn't write this yesterday; I was just too broken hearted, that & I had to find my fav pic of you that I stole off of Lee's wall ages ago. Goodbye for now my friend; my world will not be the same without you. I love ya ♥ XoXoX

Well where do I start? I miss you so very much that goes without saying. I wish I could have seen you before you were taken from us. You took me into your home when I was a senior in high school (a hard time in my life). My mom and I were not getting along and you stepped in and became a mom to me. You were the sweetest. I remember on Easter you gave Lee and I an Easter basket hers blue mine purple with all stuff a girl uses everyday. It was an unexpected gift. But that was you always giving. I remember when we dropped Lee off at the airport and missing the exit and backing up on the thruway I thought we were gonna die. There are so many memories. I am glad I shared them with you. You are gone from my sight but never from my mind or my heart. I love you Mom!

Dear Sweet Judie
I havent told "Our" waitress yet about your passing because I know when I do,her eyes will flood with tears and mine will too.Thursday's at 203 pm(because I was always 3 minutes late) was our time. You would order hot tea and I would order iced tea.You would always smile but never criticize when I would dump 1/2 the sugar thingy in the tea..There was supreme wisdom in that as if you knew life is way too short and hey if that's what she likes it,go for it.We'd share a plate of fries and talk. You talked of your daughter Lerissa, your grandson Erik and your sister Janine. They were your world and your eyes shone and became full of light when you talked about them. You were always down for my ideas on how to help people, the first to always ask, what can I do?You took the ball and ran with Random acts of kindness day.You were so thrilled when a scratchoff you gave to a total stranger won $10.00.You donated countless bags of the most neatly folded clothing to help those in need. You donated your time to the church being the "gatekeeper" when the children went to religious ed.I remember you helped every day after the hurricane struck our area. You sent me angels on facebook and I was so honored when you mentioned me in your gratitude post just a few short months ago.You were and still are an inspiration to me,and I promise to strive to live my life the way you did.Loving,caring,giving..There's not a doubt in my mind that you're in Heaven..Home..Im going to miss you a lot Judie..in fact..I do allready..till we meet again sending Love your way xo
