Obituary of Alexandra Salapatis Gogonis
Kingston- Alexandra Salapatis Gogonis, 93, formally of Windham, NY, died Monday, October 20, 2014 at Kingston Hospital. She was born on April 8, 1921 in New York, NY; she was the daughter of the late Christ and Katherine (nee Kremin) Salapatis.
Alexandra is survived by her great nieces Christa (Anthony) Cruise and Cheryl (Nicholas) Lapp; great-great niece Ashley Cruise and great-great nephew Hunter Lapp; her niece Judy (Robert) Karlovitz and stepdaughters Kathy (Chris) Garcia and Joan (Pat) Castorf.
She was predeceased by her husband George Gogonis; her sister Helen Todd; her brother John Salapatis and nephew John Salapatis.
Calling hours will be held from 4-8PM on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Decker Funeral Home, 5312 State Route 23, Windham. A funeral service will be at 11AM, Friday, October 24, 2014 at The Greek Orthodox Church of the Assumption, State Rt. 23, Windham. Interment will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Ashland, NY.
