Obituary of Irene Allar
WINDHAM- Irene Allar, 90, formerly of Lindenhurst NY, died peacefully in her sleep on June 1, 2010. She was born on August 26th 1919, the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Lally in Brooklyn NY. She was predeceased by her husband William in 2000 and her daughter Corinne Caracciolo in 1995. She is survived by her daughter Virginia (Edward) Wetzel and son in law Louis Caracciolo. She is the grandmother of Christine, Sara Jean, Joseph William Caracciolo and William and Grace Wetzel.
Calling hours will be held at Decker Funeral Home, Windham NY on Friday June 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Theresa's R.C. Church on Saturday June 5th at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Ashland NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one's choice.
