Obituary of Lorna Van Hoesen
Windham- Lorna Van Hoesen of Windham passed peacefully at home on May 13, 2016. She was born in the town of Gilboa on May 18, 1927 the daughter of the late Arthur and Glenda Smith.
She is survived by her daughter Paula (Michael) Scarey, Rhonda (Tom) Diamond, Lois Handy, Barbara Van Tassel, Pandora Moore (Terry Miller), Beth Van Ness; grandchildren Tod (Danielle) Mallory, Merci (Dan) Sand,Karlton Handy,Morgan Diamond and Shane Van Tassel, great grandchildren, Mallory, Danielle, Spencer Sand, Olivia and Theresa Mallory and great –great grandson Owen Giddings.
She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years,Carlton, foster daughters Pat Wilson and April Moore.
A graveside service will be held on Friday May 27, 2016 at 4PM at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Ashland, NY.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Windham Hose Company in her memory.
