Obituary of Eva Elizabeth Kenny
Prattsville - Eva Elizabeth Kenny, 67, died on August 19, 2010 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on June 2, 1943 in Augsburg, Germany to the late Johan and Maria Weber. At the age of 19 she immigrated to the United States. She worked as the assistant to the Treasurer at the Cross County Bank in Middle Village, NY. She met Patrick Kenny on February 7, 1985, who she married on April 17 1991. They were married by Father O'Connor at St. Vito's Church in Mamaroneck, NY. Eva is also survived by four children Stephen, Michelle, Patricia and Michael; two grandchildren Daniel and Jacqueline; a brother Richard Raiser of Canberra, Australia and a sister Hedwig Wirth of Augsburg, Germany as well as many nieces and nephews. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11 AM on Friday August 27, 2010 at St. Theresa's RC Church, Windham. Friends may call on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Decker Funeral Home, Windham. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Eva's memory to the Community Hospice of Columbia and Greene County 47 Liberty Street Catskill, NY 12414-1442
