Obituary of John Landi

Maplecrest,NY John Landi, 69, "Swanson" passed away on March 22, 2017 at his home after battling cancer. A celebration of his life service will be held from 1pm to 3pm on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Decker Funeral Home, 5312 Main Street, Windham, NY. John was born on March 5, 1948 in Queens, N.Y. John graduated from Thomas A. Edison Vocational/Technical High School in Jamaica, N.Y. He moved to Windham in 1967. He was a master carpenter and built many of the homes and businesses in this area. John was an avid gardener. He loved fishing, hunting, watching his beloved Yankees, and spending time with his sons and grandchildren. He is survived by his three sons Christopher, Michael and Eric, as well as his three grandsons, Shawn, Justin and Beau and his granddaughter, Makenzie.
