Obituary of Elizabeth Anne Ferguson

Windham- Elizabeth Anne "Betty" Ferguson passed away at her residence on Monday, April 3, 2017. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 16, 1941, the daughter of Daniel R. and Anne (nee Laughlin) Nolan. Betty worked as a registered nurse for Dr. Steinman's office in Hensonville, NY until her retirement. She was President of the Woman's Guild at St. Theresa's Church in Windam, NY. Betty is survived by her children, Patricia Mattice (Michael), Daniel (Sandy) Ferguson, Christopher Ferguson, Annemarie Matula; her brothers, Daniel Robert Nolan and John E. Nolan; her grandchildren, Sarah Mattice, Kevin Mattice, Kyle Ferguson Julianna Ferguson, Ariel Hunlock, Christina Ferguson, Shian Ferguson, Peyton Matula and Jayden Matula; she was the aunt of Christine Ferguson, Melissa Nolan, Shay Nolan and Jenna Nolan. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Decker Funeral Home, 5312 State Rt 23, Windham, NY. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 11AM at St. Theresa of the Child of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 5188 State Rt 23, Windham, NY with interment to follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Ashland, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Theresa's Church, Womans Guild.
