Obituary of Stanley R. Van Hoesen
Prattsville- Stanley R. Van Hoesen, 71, passed away on September 30, 2017.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Betty J. (nee Roe) Van Hoesen; his three daughters Tracey (Brent) Mele of East Northport, Rebecca (Wayne) Hubbard of Prattsville and Gina (Vera) Maynard of Prattsville; six grandchildren Emily and Hailey Mele, Connor and Abigail Hubbard and Brandon and Cassidy Miller; two step grandchildren Sylvester and Kiana Meyers.
He was predeceased by his parents Richard and Helen Van Hoesen. He was an only child.
Stanley served in the US Navy for eight years. He worked in construction for most of his life. He groomed at both Windham and Hunter Mountain. He loved the outdoors and working with his hands.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 form 11AM-12PM at Decker Funeral Home, 5312 Main Street, Windham, NY with a service to follow.
