Obituary of Fritz Otto Fuchs

Prattsville , NY- Fritz Fuchs, passed away on Sunday, October29,2017 with his family by his side. He was born in Cottbus, Germany the son of Otto and Lydia Fuchs. After arriving in the USA, he started Prattsville Woodworking with his father in 1959, specializing in architectural woodworking. Fritz was a third generation master cabinetmaker. He closely followed German soccer and was a long time league bowler. He will be terribly missed by family and friends. Fritz is survived by sons Andreas and Reimar (Claudia), granddaughters Nadia and Lydia, his brothers Eberhard (Susan) and Gerhard, several nephews and nieces, as well as brother-in-law Erich (Renate) of Germany. He was predeceased by his wife Ilse in 2013. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 3,2017 at 11:00 am at the Prattsville Community Church with the Reverend Rebecca Town officiating. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery, Prattsville, NY following the funeral service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Decker Funeral Home ,Windham, NY
