Obituary of Joseph A.O'Leary Mattice

Prattsville, NY- Joseph Arthur O'Leary Mattice Sr. passed away on July 18, 2018 at his home in Prattsville, NY surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of George and Hanora "Daisy" Mattice of North Blenhiem, NY. Joe leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Alveda; two children, Joseph Arthur O'Leary (Roxanne) Mattice Jr. of Prattsville, Janice (Greg) Cross of Prattsville; grandchildren, Cody and Kyle Mattice and Kaetlin and Brandan Cross; several nieces and nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Maureen McClean and his brother John O'Leary Mattice Sr. and his nephew Mark Reader. Joe will be remembered as a hard worker always providing for his family. A great husband, father and Poppy. His joys in life were spending time with family, camping, hunting and traveling with his beloved family making great memories. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 10AM-12PM at Decker Funeral Home, 5312 Main Street, Windham, NY with a service at 12PM. Interment to follow Fairlawn Cemetery, Prattsville, NY.
