Obituary of Gordon Shawn Cornell

Prattsville,NY-Gordon Shawn Cornell,55 of Prattsville ,died suddenly on Thursday,October 18,2018 at Albany Medical Center.He was born December 5,1962 .Shawn loved riding his Harley and working as a heavy equipment operator at Windham Mountain with his son Tim. He was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Emma Cornell of Prattsville. He is survived by his five children, Michael (Mariela) Cornell, Rachel Cornell, Heather (Brad) Wrobleski, Timothy Cornell and Emma Cornell; seven grandchildren, Colin, Bentley, Camilla, Hayden, Cooper, Isabella and Lincoln: siblings Tracy, Todd, Kelly and Holly and wife Crystal and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be on Tuesday October 23,2018 from 2-4&7-9pm at Decker Funeral Home, Windham NY. Funeral services will be on Wed. October 24,2018 at 11:00am at the Prattsville Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Prattsville, NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Prattsville Hose Company.
