Obituary of George A. Barry
George A. Barry, 80,formerly of Windham NY died on November 5,2010 in Chambersburg, PA.
He was born in Cairo, NY on Oct. 15, 1930 the son of Thomas and Elizabeth (nee Maben). He was predeceased by his wife Vera, his brothers Thomas and Francis and his sister Elizabeth Fairchild. He is survived by his brother Richard as well as his nephews Clark and Lawrence and his niece Alice.
George was a Veteran of the United States Army having served from 1950-1952. He retired from the Connecticut Power and Lighting Co. in New Britain, Ct.
A graveside service was held at the family plot in Windham Cemetery on Nov. 10,2010 with Rev. James Schiffer officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Decker Funeral Home, Windham,NY.
