Obituary of Gregory Lee Shamus

EARLTON - Gregory Lee Shamus, 57, of Earlton passed away on June 1, 2019. He was born on February 10,1962 to the late Donald Shamus and Dorothy German. Gregory grew up in Bellmore, NY and moved to Greene County in the 1990's. Gregory lived his life the way he wanted and to the fullest.  He enjoyed spending time with family & friends, fishing, camping, bonfires, music and Red Falls. He had a passion for mental health and was going to school to be a counselor for at risk high school students. 

Gregory is survived by his wife Darlene. His children Gregory, Ambrosa, Justin, Renee, Ariel, Jamie, Mariya, James, Roxanne, Amanda and Joshua. Sisters Eva, Angela and Charlene. Numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; stepfather Robert German; his daughter Jessica Shamus; his son Donald Shamus; his sister Irene Schneider.
