Obituary of Luella Olive Sutton
Ashland -Luella Olive Sutton, 95, died Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at home surrounded by her family. Born on June 1, 1915 in Ashland, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charley and Bertha Tompkins. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 69 years Walter Sutton as well as a brother Paul and a sister Mildred. Luella is survived by 3 children, Leonard "Red" Sutton and his wife Bruni, Raymond Sutton and his wide Doris, and Linda Partridge and her husband Robert; 14 Grandchildren, and 26 Great Grandchildren. At Luella's request there will be no services. Those who wish may make donations in her memory to The Community Hospice of Greene County, C/O The Community Hospice Foundation, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144, the Columbia/Greene Humane Society 125 Humane Society Rd Hudson, NY 12534 or Mountain View Cemetery C/O Leonard Sutton 550 Redmill Road Freehold NY 12431.
