Obituary of Kenneth J. Finck

It is with great sadness that the family of Kenneth J. Finck announces his passing at home, after a long illness on July 14, 2011. Kenneth is the son of the late Marie and N. Kenneth Finck. Ken will lovingly be remembered by his wife of 51 years, Mary, his daughter Diane and Stephen Fingar, son Kenneth and Donna Finck,Jr., daughter Joanne and Bill Grunenthal , his brother Robert and sister in law Joan, his loving grandchildren William, Mallory, Marie and Victoria and many dear cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Ken was born on September 5, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Idlewild, Queens. He resided in Wantagh, Long Island, where he and Mary raised their family. Since his retirement in 1994 as Lieutenant in the New York City Fire Department, Ken and Mary have enjoyed living in Jewett, NY. Calling hours are Sunday and Monday 2-4and 7-9 pm at Decker Funeral Home, Windham NY. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at the Jewett Presbyterian Church.
