Margie has been more then a friend to our entire family. When the kids were little they would beg for Margie to come over and , as Gus would say, "Please Margie come and sit on us". She was more then a babysitter. She was family! Cynthia you delivered two of my babies.... so Margie believed she was their grandmother. I thought that was great! Every year Margie sent a letter from Santa, with the magic snow. Even after my kids knew it didn't come from Santa, she still sent it. Well I know the magic snow will come from Heaven this year! And as for believing... I will always believe in kindness, goodness, love and a little bit of magic just as Margie did. We loved you so much! God bless

Well we know Margy had the best day she ever had when she entered through the gates into Heaven, where she is reunited with many family and friends. She was one of the most wonderful people on the face of this earth and loved everyone and everyone loved her. It was a joy to work many years with her at WAJCS and in the Alumni Association. Rest In Peace, many will hold you in our hearts forever. Love ya, Op

I met Margy in the 'rooms' 28 years ago and she has been a good friend since. My personal memory of Margy was at my home group at which she was leading the meeting just a short few weeks after her son was killed by a drunk driver. About 15-20 minutes into the meeting a newcomer walked into the meeting as Margy was sharing her story. The expression on her face changed immediately. She continued her share and when the meeting closed, Margy went directly to this guy, put her arms around him. I don't know the words she muttered to him, however it appeared she was just welcoming a newcomer. I found out after the meeting it was the person that killed her son. It was the most moving expression of forgiveness I have ever seen in my life. I will carry that moment forever. If God Blesses Margy, even in short measure of the way we've been blessed by her presence on earth, nobody need worry.

We had good times, Margie way back when I was considered a "city slicker" invading your beautiful hamlet of Windham. What a fun time we had when we worked at YOUR hotel and you introduced me to life in your world. Was fun playing scuffle board, washing dishes, making beds, and eating rhubarb pie that summer. Then, who would have thought, we would be family for all these past 50 years. Thanks for being a good other Aunt to Bill and Carol's kids, thanks for being a solid rock, and thanks for your smile. Love, Diane
